Quick answer: Somali passport holders who live in the UK can usually perform Umrah on an Umrah visa arranged through a licensed provider, and some may qualify for the Saudi eVisa through their UK visa or residence. You need a valid Somali passport, proof of your UK status and travel details. We check your route and apply for you.
Which visa can a Somali passport holder in the UK use?
If you live in the UK on a Somali passport, there are two usual routes. The right one depends on your UK immigration status, so we check this with you before you book anything.
| Route | Who it may suit | Points to know |
|---|---|---|
| Umrah visa through a licensed provider | Somali passport holders legally resident in the UK | Applied for with your package; we prepare and submit the application and match it to your flights and hotels. |
| Saudi eVisa for UK visa or residence holders | Some UK residents with a valid UK visa or residence permit | Eligibility and conditions depend on your UK status and can change; a UK residence permit alone does not guarantee approval. |
Applications for some nationalities can take longer to process, so we recommend applying at least four to six weeks before you travel.
Documents you need
- Somali passport valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry, with at least two blank pages.
- A recent passport photo with a plain white background.
- Proof of your UK status: your eVisa share code, a valid UK visa or residence permit, or Indefinite Leave to Remain. Your UK permission should normally be valid for the length of your trip and beyond.
- Confirmed flights and hotels (included when you book a package with us).
- For children: their own passport and a full birth certificate. A parent travelling alone with a child should carry a consent letter from the other parent.
- Health requirements: Saudi Arabia may require vaccinations such as meningitis ACWY. Check the current rules with your GP and on GOV.UK entry requirements for Saudi Arabia.
Names and dates of birth must match exactly across your passport, visa application and tickets.
