Quick answer: We arrange private transfers from Jeddah Airport to Makkah (about 100 km, around 1 hour 15 minutes, longer at busy times) in air-conditioned cars, SUVs, vans and buses with experienced drivers. Book in advance, and your driver will be waiting for you. Prices depend on the vehicle and are on request.
About this transfer
Most pilgrims arriving from the UK land at Jeddah already in Ihram and go straight to their hotel in Makkah to perform Umrah. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board.

Good to know
Put on your Ihram before the flight and make your intention before the plane crosses the Miqat; the crew usually announces it.
The Haramain high-speed train also links Makkah, Jeddah and Madinah. It is quick, but you still need transfers between the stations and your hotels, and luggage limits apply. A private transfer takes you door to door.
