This package at a glance
The January 7 Nights 3 Star Umrah Package from the UK costs from £590 per person (quad sharing). It includes 4 nights at Al Kiswah Tower in Makkah (7 - 10 mins walking from Haram walk to the Haram) and 3 nights at Emaar Mektan in Madinah (3 - 5 mins walking from Masjid an-Nabawi walk to the Haram), return economy flights from London, Manchester, Birmingham and other UK airports, the Umrah visa and transfers.
Seven nights on a quad-sharing, economy-flight basis. Al Kiswah Tower sits about 800 metres from the Haram (7-8 minutes on foot), and Emaar Mektan is about 300 metres from Masjid an-Nabawi (around 3 minutes on foot).
Day 1
Your January flight lands at Jeddah with you already in Ihram, and we drive you to Al Kiswah Tower in Makkah. After check-in, walk the 7–10 minutes to the Haram for your Umrah. In winter the daytime is warm, around 30°C, but the evening walk is pleasantly cool, which makes Tawaf and Sa'i far easier than in the summer months. Rest well once you are done.
Day 2
Fajr comes relatively late in winter, so getting to the Haram from Al Kiswah Tower for the dawn prayer is less of a struggle than it is in summer. Because January falls in UK school term time, there are usually fewer families travelling and the hotel feels quieter. Use the cooler hours for extra Tawaf, and rest in your room through the warmest part of the afternoon.
Day 3
The Makkah Ziyarat normally takes in Jabal al-Nour and the Cave of Hira, Jabal Thawr, Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat. The mild January weather makes stepping off the coach at each stop much more comfortable. If you want to climb towards Hira, start early and take water, as the midday sun is still strong. We confirm the Ziyarat day and pick-up time in your quote.
Day 4
Use your free day for extra Tawaf, Qur'an and quiet du'a in the Haram. If you travel in the second half of January, note that 15 Sha'ban is expected around 23 January 2027, a night many people spend in worship; ask us if you would like your trip to include it. Pack this evening at Al Kiswah Tower and make your farewell Tawaf before leaving.
Day 5
We take you from Makkah to Madinah: around 4.5–5 hours by road, or about 2.5 hours on the Haramain train plus taxis, as confirmed in your quote. Keep a light jacket in your hand luggage, because Madinah can feel properly cold at night in January, especially compared with Makkah. Emaar Mektan is 3–5 minutes from Masjid an-Nabawi, so you can walk over for Isha.
Day 6
Wrap up for the walk to Fajr, as early mornings in Madinah are chilly in January. Afterwards, give salam to the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr and Umar. Your visit to the Rawdah depends on a slot booked in the Nusuk app, which we help you arrange. Term-time travel often means smaller crowds, but slots still need booking, so check the time with us before you set off.
Day 7
The January sunshine is gentle enough to enjoy the Madinah Ziyarat at an easy pace: Masjid Quba, Mount Uhud with the graves of the martyrs, and Masjid al-Qiblatayn are the usual stops. The day is confirmed in your quote. Take your jacket if the tour leaves early. In the evening, enjoy a last unhurried Isha at Masjid an-Nabawi, just minutes from Emaar Mektan.
Day 8
Pray a final Fajr at Masjid an-Nabawi and give your farewell salam before checking out of Emaar Mektan. You fly home from Madinah or from Jeddah, which is about 4–4.5 hours by road; we confirm this in your quote. Remember you are heading back to a British winter, so keep a warm layer handy for arrival, and check your airline's Zamzam allowance before packing.
Flights and timings are confirmed in your quotation. Ziyarat days can be moved to suit you.
