Quick answer: An all-inclusive Umrah package from the UK usually costs from about £490 per person for 7 nights with 3 star hotels, from about £690 with 4 star hotels and from about £1,230 with 5 star hotels next to the Haram, sharing a room. Ramadan, school holidays and Haram-view rooms cost more. See today's live prices.

What is included in the price?

  • Return flights from the UK to Jeddah or Madinah.
  • The Umrah visa.
  • Hotels in Makkah and Madinah for the nights you choose.
  • Transfers between the airport, Makkah and Madinah.

Meals, Ziyarat tours and room upgrades depend on the package. Your quote lists exactly what is included.

Typical prices by hotel standard

Prices are per person, sharing a room, and are a guide only: they change with dates and availability.

  • 3 star Umrah: from about £490 for 7 nights. Good value; hotels a short walk or shuttle ride from the Haram.
  • 4 star Umrah: from about £690 for 7 nights. Closer hotels, more comfort, often breakfast included.
  • 5 star Umrah: from about £1,230 for 7 nights. Hotels next to the Haram, best for elderly pilgrims.

What changes the price?

  • Dates: Ramadan (especially the last ten nights), Easter, summer and Christmas holidays cost the most.
  • Room sharing: quad sharing is cheapest per person; double rooms cost more.
  • Distance to the Haram: the closer the hotel, the higher the price.
  • Flights: direct flights and flights from smaller UK airports can cost more.
  • Number of nights: longer stays cost more in total but often less per night.

Extra costs to budget for

  • Meals not included in your package, and Zamzam to bring home (airlines have their own rules).
  • Travel insurance, which we strongly recommend.
  • Spending money for gifts, dates and local transport.

How to save money on Umrah

  • Travel outside Ramadan and school holidays.
  • Share a room with family or friends.
  • Mix hotels: 5 star in Makkah and 3 or 4 star in Madinah.
  • Book early and pay in instalments.
